Here are some updated pics of our garden. Most of the plants are in, I still have some more basil to go in this weekend some place.....I'd say about 75% of the garden this year is from recycled items :) For that, I can say I'm proud. Next year, I'll be adding soaker hoses, & hopefully a good drain/water system for the tomato garden...since its thrived there, I'm not moving it!
Here are my first 2 tomatoes :)
mixture of peppers
peppers & moonflowers (later I moved my basil & oregano pot & placed inside the circle so they could get watered)
onions
tomato garden
first strawberry from last year's planting :)
here was the tomato garden when we first started it
June bearing strawberries planted last year (I thought they were poison ivy at first!)
pepper blocks
bearded dragon iris' in the front yard
hosta
chives
#2 & 3 tomato of the year
here's the tomato garden after it was nearly completed
pepper bed
a nice little slimy visitor :)
the cucumbers I planted, then transplanted so there were 2 per pot.
Pole peas....one of the pots has a cucumber because of an odd count
garlic & asparagus
So far, that's it!
